High School Student Chapter
Join the movement! Youth are crucial in the fight for universal health care
What do we do?
Our goal is to increase youth engagement and empowerment on the subject of our flawed health care system. Through educational meetings, community involvement, guest speakers, and letter and testimony writing to legislators, students are able to use their voices to fight for an equitable health care system.
Who are we?
Our names are Alani LoBravo and Jack Hampson, and we are both currently seniors at Lakeridge High School. Our initial student chapter meetings have been held at Lakeridge, but we plan to soon expand our work to high schoolers across all of Oregon through virtual meetings. We are both passionate about making a change in our state that benefits the lives of every resident. We believe health care is a human right, not a luxury.
